Circular Plastics Australia (PET) installs Aerofloat Wastewater Treatment System
Published on by Water Network Research, Official research team of The Water Network in Case Studies
Aerofloat designed, manufactured and commissioned a wastewater treatment plant for Circular Plastics Australia (PET), Australia's largest PET recycling facility, located in Albury. Thanks to Aerofloat's wastewater treatment system, clean wastewater from the system is either re-used as wash water within the plastics recycling facility or discharged to sewer, helping to reduce the company’s footprint with savings on water usage. Circular Plastics Australia (PET) is a joint venture between Pact Group, Cleanaway, Asahi Beverages and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners. The facility will recycle the equivalent of approximately 1 billion 600ml PET plastic bottles each year.
