Pure Potential: Rethinking the Value of Waste Water Purification

Bashar Al-Daomi, a Ph.D. candidate at the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science at Portland State University, is developing novel ways to purify wastewater for industrial use.

His methods using bacteria could help reduce purification costs and increase the output of reusable materials, helping to eliminate the problem of wastewater in underserved communities around the world.
