Robot Research in the Wild: Water Transport in Rural India

Researchers recently presented a study where they took a water hauling robot to a village in rural India.

This is a project carried out by researchers from Ammachi labs, Amrita University, India in collaboration with Dr. Amol Deshmukh of the University of Glasgow, UK at Ayyampathy village in Coimbatore to study the perceptions towards a water carrying robotic system.
The team that carried out this project includes, Dr. Amol Deshmukh (University of Glasgow), and researchers from Ammachi labs namely, Sooraj Krishna, Akshay Nagarajan , Vennila Vilvanathan, Sivaprasad J. V. and Prof. Rao R. Bhavani
