Mr. Obonyo holds a Bsc. Degree in Computer Information systems and a diploma in Water Technology (Water) with over 20 years in water engineering industry undertaking design activities, modelling and management of water systems. Experience is also drawn from different countries.

 Specific inputs include: Water distribution systems, Water Leakage Control & Reduction and utility management activities in the water sector. I have actively participated in major UFW and Leakage Control Projects and Technical Assistance in: Nairobi, Mombasa & Coast Region (Kenya); Blantyer & Lilologwe Cities  (Malawi), Mahe Island (Seychelles), Dar es salaam (Tanzania) and Maseru in Lesotho.

I have developed expertise in various fields required to ensure efficient operation and management of water supply systems: DMA set up, Bulk and customer metering; Leak detection; UFW and leakage control & reduction practices, Assessment; Water –Network:-Flow, Reservoir Levels & Pressure measurements; Training of counterpart staff in Water Engineering Sector and related Fields.
