Keith Fountain, Managing Attorney, Manager
About
Keith Fountain has been involved with conservation strategies and real estate in Florida for more than 25 years. He has led conservation initiatives ranging from the county to multi-state ecosystem scale and managed over 20 staff with a budget greater than $1,000,000. Keith initiated discussions that resulted in the Everglades Headwaters National Wildlife Refuge and directed initiatives aimed at working with ranchers in the greater Everglades ecosystem and restoring the longleaf pine ecosystem across its historic range. He has managed land protection projects that have produced more than 4,300 real estate transactions valued at more than $700 million. In 2012, Keith founded Conservation Advisors LLC to bring his unparalleled experience and breadth of contacts to ranchers, farmers, timberland owners, nonprofits and government agencies requiring his expertise and vision to complete complex conservation projects that preserve family lands, sustain agricultural businesses and protect Florida’s natural resources. In 2016, he established Keith Fountain Law PLLC to provide legal services as well to these groups. Prior to engaging in a career in conservation, Keith practiced law in Florida and spent a summer in Alaska as a backcountry volunteer. He received his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Florida.
