About
Milos Živanov was born in 1948, in Novi Sad, Serbia. He finished elementary school in Ravo Sedlo, a high school in Vrbas. He graduated from the Faculty on Electrical Engineering , Department of Engineering Physics, Belgrade in 1973. MSc thesis defended in 1978, and the PhD in 1992, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade. He worked at the training center in Vrbas in 1973, and then was employed at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, as an assistant from 1974 to 1978. He worked in Naftagas in well logging and development from 1978 to 1994. Since 1994 Was again working on FTS. Today he is a full professor of the electronics and optoelectronics . He has published more than 450 scientific papers, over 150 in international journals and at international conferences. He is head of the project Development of methods , sensors and systems for monitoring the quality of water, air and soil. Participated in two, and previously he was a participant in several research projects. He was head of the four scientific projects . He has published eight textbooks and 5 scripts. He is a member of IEEE (Senior Member ) , Etran , the Optical Society of Serbia and the Society for power electronics.
