Attached is a simple and robust dual tippy tap model that Covid-19 response inspired me to make while at home here in Kenya.

We are using it for our outdoor touchless handwashing (there is no need to use hands to operate during and after handwashing). Needless to say the strategic-ness of this feature given WHO and MoH-Kenya's handwashing messaging.

Touchless is not all. In addition, the model has a way of safely storing and dispensing soapy water and rinsing water independently and sparingly. As you might be aware, alot of people around the globe dont have the luxury of soap and water all very essential in effective handwashing. An equipment that conserves these invaluable ingredients (soap and water) during the endless handwashing during these Covid-19 times can not be over-emphasized.

Been around humanitarian WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene) action as a pro for several years now and one key assumption often made (that "information equals access") needs undoing particularly for contexts that face soap+water access challenges. This model is one such an opportunity to sort this false assumption.

Shared with one heart from our isolation home in Kenya, it is hoped your partners from around the globe find this useful somewhere. Should that be the case, we remain open to collaborate for further details with its resourcing. It has already generated interest from a Somalia based consortium of Non-Governmental Organization who want to see how it can be piloted and scaled up.

Best,
