Thanks for being part of the Water Net work Group. I am an environmental lawyer and Law consultant in the field of enforcement and implementation of of laws pertaining to protection of environment viz, Water pollution( surface water/ ground water/ water bodies; including Rivers & Lakes ) , Air Pollution( from various categories of industries) waste management , noise pollution control, protection of biodiversity, flora, fauna,
protection and management of eco-sensitive areas etc. My interest lies in studying the policies at national and international level and the institutions established with a view to secure enforcement and compliance of environmental laws. The approach of the judicial forum in dealing with the environmental matters in enforcement of laws pertain to protection of environment and setting precedent for better enforcement .
