SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL WATER WEEK (SIWW): The first SIWW was organised in 2008. Since 2012, this event has been held biennially. The 2019 event had to be postponed to 2020 due to international travel restrictions due to COVID-19. Within a few short years, SIWW has established itself as a premier water event of the world primarily due to its focus on urban water and wastewater management, and ensuring the discussions are sharply focused on their applicability to solve the real-world water problems. SIWW and its exhibition are now clear global leaders where participants can gain latest insights to usable knowledge, network with leading professionals from water utilities and eminent academics from all over the world, and get information on latest solutions and technology. It is with considerable pleasure I have accepted SIWW’s invitation to participate in a panel with three other most distinguished panellists: Paul Bulcke, Chairman, Nestlé, Ng Joo Hee, Chief Executive, PUB, Singapore’s water agency, and Claudia Pahl-Wostl, University of Osnabrück. It will be moderated by Cecilia Tortajada, Professor, University of Glasgow, on 18 November: https://bit.ly/3mCLUmQ
