GWOPA is an alliance of partners working towards the common goal of making Water Operators’ Partnerships (WOPs) happen more often and with greater impact. Water Operators' Partnerships are support arrangements between water operators and work by harnessing the skills, know-how and goodwill within a strong 'mentor' to build the capacity of another operator – the 'mentee' – that needs assistance. Through mentorship, WOPs progressively strengthen and empower the mentee operator at management, financial and technical levels to implement changes that will lead to better service.
