Real Time monitoring of Lead and Copper
Published on by Water Network Research, Official research team of The Water Network in Technology
The EPA’s proposed Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) aim to reduce lead exposure in drinking water. Traditional testing struggles to provide real-time data on water corrosivity, which is crucial for timely responses to fluctuating lead and copper levels. The AMS MetalGuard™ automated online analyzer delivers high-frequency, real-time monitoring of total, dissolved, and particulate lead or copper. It offers a low cost per analysis that is more economical than traditional manual sampling with laboratory analysis, which often results in a five-week data lag to obtain results and is more labor intensive.
