Doctors prescribe our water filters in West Bengal

Watsan Envirotech is the maker of electricity free, maintenance free, affordable water filters and has certifications and the engravings of all premier Scieintific Institutions of the India, vouching for its genuinity and quality. CSIR, DST, CIPET and IIT Madras incubated Inno-Nano Research are the collaborators to enable us make the water filters. This runs purely by having nano-pores in a clay candles sintered and burnt like brick enabling it to stay hard and last longer. Our filters through the network of NGOs, WASH specialists, Self help group women has reached almost 90,000 rural Indians who otherwise do not know what filtration is all about and also they seldom know that the water borne diseases are the root cause for their illness and spending on medication.

Most unfortunate are the people of West Bengal and Bihar as most part of these states have arsenic, a carcinogenic agent and iron in water. Through our nano-filtration method, we were able to remove it and now the doctors in rural Bengal have started stocking our filters in their dispensaries and give it to the poor for some affordable costs! The association president sent a circular recommending the filters for other doctors too! As this is through stand alone water filters for individual households, the Huge sized community filters which we designed and made in the shape of a tender coconut (which can't get adulterated, right?) is now being installed by the West Bengal Government itself throughout Murshidabad District, most affected by iron and arsenic! Encouraged by these results, now we want to take it to all arsenic and iron affected regions in the world, and seek representatives who can take this simple yet effective technology to the needy and most affected! We understand Nigeria, Congo, Bangladesh, China and Pakistan plus few surprising places like Texas, and few American and Canadian sites have arsenic! We are discussing with the famous Nobel Laurette Prof. Mohamed Younus and his team for deploying it in Bangladesh and seek more collaborators to address the problems in other countries too.
