Evoqua Acquires Delta UV

Evoqua Water Technologies and its recently acquired Neptune-Benson business announced the acquisition of Delta Ultraviolet Corporation (Delta UV), a leading manufacturer and marketer of UV-C technology.

 The business is based in Gardena, Calif., and terms were not disclosed. 

UV-C is a versatile technology used to disinfect water and destroy harmful micro-organisms in other liquids. With UV-C technology it is possible to reliably destroy or inactivate up to 99.99% or more of pathogens within seconds, without addition of chemicals.

Evoqua_stacked_CMYK.jpg The acquisition adds Delta’s UV systems to Evoqua and Neptune Benson’s portfolio of UV solutions, including ETS-UV systems and Wallace & Tiernan brand Barrier® UV products. The addition of Delta UV complements this range of existing UV offerings. Evoqua and Neptune Benson will now offer UV solutions for a large variety of applications, ranging from Municipal, Industrial, Recreational and Residential water applications.

Together, the two companies filter, disinfect, treat, and improve billions of gallons of water in the industrial, municipal and recreational water markets. Tens of millions of people and thousands of companies rely on Evoqua and Neptune Benson to help them meet their needs for clean water.
