GE has confirmed it is looking to sell its Water & Process Technologies Department.

The company said selling this department is a strategic decision that will make opportunities for development and growth, along with new investments in this business. This is a plan for long-term success.
The business is planned to be sold by mid-2017.
The department will work normally until then, fulfilling their responsibilities and staying loyal to their customers and employees.

GE also announced they will combine their Oil & Gas business with the oilfield services group, Baker Hughes
