GE to Sell Water & Process Technologies Department

GE has confirmed it is looking to sell its Water & Process Technologies Department.

download (28).pngThe company said selling this department is a strategic decision that will make opportunities for development and growth, along with new investments in this business. This is a plan for long-term success.

The business is planned to be sold by mid-2017.

The department will work normally until then, fulfilling their responsibilities and staying loyal to their customers and employees.

Heiner Markhoff, the CEO and President of GE Power, Water & Distributed Power said this business is a leader in the industry and pointed out the strength of the business.
“The business is strong and will continue to be set up for future success”

GE also announced they will combine their Oil & Gas business with the oilfield services group, Baker Hughes
