New Double-Ended Submerged Ultrafiltration System by Evoqua

Evoqua Water Technologies today announced that its Memcor® product line will introduce a new ultrafiltration system that allows customers to design submerged membrane systems with the lowest cost of ownership in the membrane industry

The new product – called Memcor® CSII Ultrafiltration System-- features innovative double-ended filtration that delivers a 20 percent reduction in backwash aeration energy. The Company’s proven module design enables customers to either reduce footprint by up to 30 percent, or utilize that new space and increase capacity up to 30 percent.

“The introduction of the Memcor® CSII Ultrafiltration System presents yet another major advancement in the Memcor product line and underscores our 30-year heritage of innovation and continued commitment to meet our customer’s needs,” said Ben Soucy, Vice President/GM of Evoqua’s Memcor® Products. “CSII will help municipalities drive down ownership costs of submerged membrane filtration and allow them lower-cost capacity expansion, or reduce footprint by up to 30 percent,” added Soucy.

Evoqua product experts will present the advantages of double-ended filtration at this year’s Membrane Technology Conference held here in San Antonio, titled “ “Expanding the Submerged Operating Window Through Double Ended Filtration ”  on February 3rd at 4:00 pm in room 221BC of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
