Performance correction of Activated Sludge process treating Coke Oven Effluent

Resharing our earlier article series published on LinkedIn for performance correction of activated sludge process treating Coke Oven and Coal Gasifier unit effluents.

Now almost after three years the process has been stabilized to such a level that it is tolerating a wide fluctuation in the inlet Phenols, Cyanide and Ammonia consistently meeting latest discharge standards for steel industry. We are also now operating the plant for the third year which is an achievement for our O&M process.
