#cleanganga, #naturalpurification, #bioremediation we at Watsan (www.watsan.in) conducted trials from water taken from the effluents thrown into Ganga from the nearby factories at Laskar in Uttarakhand, and are happy that we were able to remove critical heavy metals like, lead, chromium, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, iron along with pathogens using our nano-clay based terafil water purifiers and add-on arsenic cartridges which we have developed in collaboration with IIT Madras. Any leads to take this forward to the clean Ganga authorities would be helpful.
