Red Tide Impact on Thermal Desalination

Dear All,

when I check in the different publications related to red tide, all issues mainly affect to membrane desalination. Is there any significant impact on MSF/MED systems, when red tide event occur? Or are red tide events not having any influence on the performance or efficiency of thermal desalination processes?
