Desirée is a hydrogeologist with 10 years in consulting and research, predominantly in contamination and hydrogeological investigations for environmental site assessment. Her environmental consulting experience includes management, supervision, and reporting of environmental investigations including groundwater monitoring and remediation, and site assessment in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales.

Desirée has been involved in a wide range of hydrogeological projects for different industry sectors including government, property development, mining, petroleum and transport. Projects have included the areas of resource protection, water supply, groundwater quality and quantity assessment, surface – groundwater interaction, geochemistry and geological correlation.

Recent projects include a groundwater bioremediation program for solvent contamination in preparation for CUTEP, several hydrogeological assessments for a municipal supplementary water supply and for a quarry expansion, and several landfill gas risk assessments for operating and closed landfills.
