The impact of my research is profound! Fresh water will be available worldwide for drinking (“potable”) and household use ("nonpotable"). Fresh Water will be abundantly available for Agriculture “Food Production” (both Plant and Animal). With an abundance of fresh water both water and food shortages will end, worldwide health and personal hygiene will improve with abundant water available for Home and Industry, new recreation and real estate values and opportunities will be created with the AWG ability to generate water anywhere on earth in any amount of water. No one in the world will go hungry or thirsty. The world will be healthier, happier, and imposed property infringements due to water rights litigation will cease. Healthy populations will increase. I predict my work will begin implementation in 2017 and by 2020 abundant fresh water will be available worldwide.
I am seeking employment, funding or affiliation with a University or Research Team to: 1) Conduct research and tests to see how higher concentrations of minerals in Ocean Water vary from the existing city water drinking water supplies of dissolved minerals. Run tests to obtain data showing effectiveness of and adjustments required in substitution of Ocean Water for Fresh Water in common Household Uses and to establish recommendations and guidelines for using Ocean Water versus Fresh Water for most common Potable and Nonpotable Uses and make recommendations according to local water supplies how to modify use of Ocean Water (purified). From the initial research I have done, city water supplies vary greatly in concentrations of dissolved minerals and hence, why so many homes individually modify their water at "point of use" using household filtration systems. There are MANY more large quantity uses of water for Nonpotable uses than Potable. Ocean water can almost immediately be substituted safely for many Nonpotable uses of water with only minor inconveniences of filtering the water or making adjustments to compensate according to the proportions of dissolved minerals. Most common Nonpotable Uses are: showering, bathing, flushing toilets, washing dishes, dishwashers, garbage disposals, washing machines, washing pets, hosing sidewalks and driveways, swimming pools, Jacuzzis, hot tubs, steam rooms, industrial cooling, etc. {For the majority of Household Uses (Potable and Nonpotable), is an extrapolation of basic household water chemistry where conditioners (salts) are added to average home water supplies to "soften" (i.e. make household water, more productive, "effective") and flavor the water. In addition, soaps, dish washer detergents, laundry detergents, shampoos, bubble bath, shower gels, car wash detergents, pet shampoos, and cleaning solutions, etc. all add salt(s). When you think about it, most additions of water to ingredients for cooking, also call for additions of salt. So when using Ocean Water (which is as salty as a human tear) the quantity of salt added to recipes and the quantity and concentrations of detergents would need to be modified. The added value of using Ocean Water is gaining all the additional dissolved minerals present in Ocean Water (such as Calcium, etc.) (One secret of water chemistry is that ocean water more closely matches the chemical composition of the human body chemistry than fresh water.) I would run tests to develop recommended adjustments to recipes and household uses of Ocean Water and to establish recommendations and guidelines for using Ocean Water versus Fresh Water for most common Potable and Nonpotable Household Uses. If Ocean Water (purified) can be directly used for the majority of Nonpotable Uses then enough fresh water will be available for all Potable Uses.
2.) Run tests and develop the Biochemistry for Agriculture and Food Production Uses of Ocean Water. The second most significant portion of my proposed research is the significance of the Agronomy application: “Polymer (hydrogel) Chemistry, Converting Ocean Water into fresh water using Polymer Hydrogel Technology”. Ocean water (in the presence of polymers (hydrogels)) can be converted into fresh water plus calcium chloride (or calcium carbonate), (both "plant fertilizers") and would create unlimited "fresh water" useful in all agriculture needs. I would like to run tests to see how Wheat stalk or Corn stalk Waste (pelleted) could be converted Polymers (Hydrogels) or used in combination with Polymers (Hydrogels) as a mulch, or used as an Ocean Water filtration system agent (already in existence). The advantages of Polymers (Hydrogels) in the soil is well known as a humectant. Nonpotable uses of Ocean water in the garden, and on lawns would need to be tested where Polymers (Hydrogels) have been added to, or on top of, soil (already a common household practice). In theory (in high school Chemistry labs), polymers (hydrogels) denature salt (separate the sodium and chloride ions) to form pure water and the Calcium recombines with the Chloride to form Calcium Chloride (depending upon the type of polymer...that is, if the hydrogel is made from common plant waste, such as wheat stalks, corn stalks etc. OR if the hydrogel is made from petroleum) the resulting type of "fertilizer" varies. Calcium Chloride is a great fertilizers and useful to plants, and is inert, that is, neutral in the soil, you can't have too much of it. The Sodium ion theoretically could combine with Nitrates in the soil to form the fertilizer Sodium Nitrate (another great fertilizer)! Nonpotable uses of Ocean water in Agriculture (Food Production), in the garden, and on lawns would need to be tested using Ocean Water where Polymers (Hydrogels) have been added to, or placed on top of the soil (already a common household practice). Please note, at this point, my research is theoretical. Albeit, the Hydrogel (Polymer) chemistry is a tried and true method of desalination and also a common high school Chemistry laboratory, hence, I based my premise using knowledge from commonly accepted, and previously documented assays.

I am seeking employment, funding or affiliation with a University or Research Team to: “End Worldwide Fresh Water Shortages” to develop a implementation strategy using Existing Alternatives to Produce Fresh Water for Agriculture, Industry and Home Uses. My research recommends applying existing Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs) Water Condensation Technology Devices for both large scale Agriculture Irrigation, Industrial Use and for Human (Potable and Nonpotable) uses in remote arid locations. (For example: Air Condensation technology may be used to condense enough pure drinking water every day for an individual using only air with normal humidity (even in arid areas on earth). ttp://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/innovation-wind-powered-device-produce-37-litres-clean-drinking-water-every-day/1/785837.html, or reservoir sized AWGs could be quickly and easily built for Agriculture, City Water Supplies, and Industrial Uses. The drip irrigation lines I propose would use cellulose (a plant product, often used in grocery bags and biodegradable in the presence of water and soil bacteria across many months). Therefore new lines could be planted every season and old lines tilled into the earth as mulch.
