A CONCEPTUAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT PLAN, ON THE GANGES RIVER BANK
Published by Mashallah Ali-Ahyaie, Self Employed Independent Peoplesoft Consultant - Freelancer Consultant in Technology
Out of the information available on the web, one may define a conceptual research development plan, for a pilot trial, on the Ganges river bank, just if putting the pieces of a puzzle together, integrating ideas, as follows:
It is a proved fact, in the course of history, that cow dung / animal dung are good sources of energy, as viewed via images:

Humans feces, as well has the same characteristic, as proved by janicki bioenergy, however, on a yet small scale, for the time being:

WATER TREATMENT IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD"
Eliminating the Pathogens and Making Clean Drinking Water
Raw sewage contains many pathogens that are harmful to humans. Fortunately, there is enough energy in the biomass to boil the water and make it bio-safe.

Sewage contains about 80% water and 20% biomass. The biomass has more than enough
energy in it to sterilize and boil the water.
On the other hand, there had already been a move, in the city of Varanasi, in India, as explained on the following news item, for coping with the Ganges pollution, in a plan which involves a 4-mile pipeline to intercept all the sewage's that would normally flow into the Ganges from the Varanasi area. The pipe line would then extend another 4 miles to an elevated sandbar in the Ganges, where a series of ponds would cleanse the waste using microorganisms to destroy the bacteria:

The above-mentioned news item belonged to Spartanburg Herald-Journal / Sunday, May 17, 1998 a17; hence, the progress of the scheme is not known, at the current date, in June, 2015:
Following his father’s death in 2013, Professor Vishwambhar Nath Mishra became President of SMF and Mahant of Sankat Mochan Temple.
Apparently the updated web site is now: http://cleanganganow.org/, and waiting for a response therefrom, on the progress of the project initialized by The late Prof. Veer Bhadra Mishra (1938-2013.)
Now, one may integrate within this plan, the Omni Processor's package units; to be fed from the collecting sewage in the said ponds, via vacuum trucks. The rest is already proved, however, on a yet small scale, as follows:

A COMMENT FOR THE CURRENT MANAGEMENT OF " Sankat Mochan Foundation"
The project concept initialized by the late prof. Veer Bhadra Mishra, through consultation with international bodies, in which - a 4-mile pipeline to intercept all the sewage's that would normally flow into the ganges from the Varanasi area. The pipe line would then extend another 4 miles to an elevated sandbar in the Ganges, where a series of ponds would cleanse the waste using microorganisms to destroy the bacteria, - could be modified, in line with the advantages and disadvantages remarks, discussed on the following document, since the proposed ponds are the same, as anaerobic lagoon:

Anaerobic lagoon
The facts discussed on this document, are quite convincing to opt for the new technology, as proposed, in using the sludge as a fuel, producing potable water, electricity and ash to be used as fertilizer.
