Biocides
Published on by Manuel Anselmo, R&D Scientist at ALVIM Biofilm Monitoring Technologies in Technology
Different biocide protocols are commonly employed to get rid of bacteria, which are a constant threath toward water and other liquids employed in industrial, residential and municipal systems. Often, though, sanitation treatments are not optimized, and they come with poor or no attention toward bacteria attached to surfaces (biofilm) thus leaving the system exposed to potential risks.
