UNESCO is pleased to invite you to attend the launch session of the Open Online Course on Programming for Geospatial Hydrological Applications , organized by UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP) and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education on Tuesday, March 2 nd , 2021, at 1PM CET .
This webinar is held in the context of project ‘Enhancing Climate Services for Improved Water Resources Management in Vulnerable Regions to Climate Change: Case studies from Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean’ ( CliMWaR ), funded by the Government of Flanders – UNESCO Science Trust Fund (FUST). In this webinar, participants will be introduced to programming for geospatial hydrological applications, learn essential skills for researchers dealing with spatial data, scripting to better control their analyses and automate procedures, and process data and modeling using Python’s libraries.
