Thanks for posting this. What the article does not discuss is the underlying cause - climate change + the years of over-withdrawal of water due to poor water-energy-food planning. Water conflicts are getting more common and frequent in many countries, but future ones can and should be avoided. Would anyone in this group be interested in joining a facilitated discussion on this topic?
