The present study aims to review the legal framework of waste water in Peru. For that purpose, it begins with a brief analysis of the general aspects of the Regulation of Water and Sanitation Industry. Subsequently, addressing the central theme of the paper, develops the concept and legal framework for waste water, its disposal and reuse considering the applicable licenses and the supervisory activity accomplished by the government.
