Trending Tech Company - Livelo
Published on by Water Network Research, Official research team of The Water Network in Technology
The Livelo sensor allows data to be collected and shared, improving water management for everyone.
Livelo, was born as an interdisciplinary project in Lausanne thanks to the China Hardware Innovation Camp (CHIC).
Livelo is a low-price and scalable groundwater monitoring solution, suggested by the ICRC.
The team will keep on working on this project during the ongoing semester with the goal to deliver 5 reliable working prototypes by the end of January.
More precisely, several aspects still have to be improved in order to achieve reliable samples that can be tested on site:
- Improve the design and its waterproofness
- Decrease the hardware cost
- Integrate a web platform for users/data management– designed in collaboration with ThinkEE, a startup at EPFL.
Livelo is adressing the topic nr. 6 of the Substainable and Developpment Goals (SDG) spearheaded by the United Nation, because it is:
Unexpensive
Livelo is at least 5 times cheaper than our competitor's devices.
Ease of use
You don't need additional devices from us to consult your data and manage Livelo. You can do everything with your phone.
Scalability
With us, the same budget can buy dozens of Livelo and cover a bigger area than a solution made by our competitors.
Keep your legacy sensors
Thanks to our partner Thinkee and its platform, you can centralise your data stream from Livelo and from you legacy systems.
The smartphone app allows you to manage your sensors, launch samplings, harvest and visualise data on your phone.
Feel free to contact Livelo if you have any questions or suggestions about our project.
