Please mark your calendars to join us in Sacramento for the 2018 WE&RF Agricultural Water Reuse Workshop!
Potential for the use of recycled water for agricultural irrigation is especially promising in the arid and semi-arid regions of the world where there is groundwater depletion or other local supply challenges. This potential remains underutilized due to various challenges and impediments to agricultural reuse.
In partnership with the State Water Resources Control Board in California, WE&RF is holding a workshop to inform attendees on the state of the science of agricultural water reuse, particularly as it pertains to the Western U.S. region.
Information presented will include findings from timely WE&RF research efforts and an expert panel session on stakeholder experiences with the use of recycled water for agriculture.
Topics to be covered during the workshop include: - Unique drivers for agricultural water reuse
- Design and Permitting
- Treatment Technologies
- Economics
- Operations
- Gaining Stakeholder Support
More details will be coming soon, but until then please mark your calendars to join us in Sacramento on January 31! If you have any questions, please contact feel free to message me or email me at kvandenheuvel@werf.org. |
