Gali Fux, Israel's Water Innovation Community - Executive Director
About
I am a passionate, optimistic environmentalist. I have an M.Sc. from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering in the Technion, Israel. In my research, I focused on one of the biggest challenges that exist today - treating produced water from the oil and gas industry. Studying membrane treatment, I tried to define the effect of different hydrodynamic forces on the membrane-oil droplet interaction. Realizing that my strength is not in the admirable world of scientific discoveries but rather driving changes in people and organizations, I moved to consult and worked with global water utilities. I am now the Executive Director of Israel's Water Innovation Community (Wateredge) where I support local stakeholders (startups, utilities, veteran companies) in the development, growth, and implementation of innovative technologies and practices.
