Training Programme on "Decentralized Waste Water Treatment Systems (De-WATS) "Greetings from Water Knowledge Centre, Tata-Dhan Academy!India is facing many water related issues. One of the key issues is in regard to water, health and sanitation. Government is trying to address the issues through Swachh Bharat mission, WASH programmes, etc. Focusing on recycling waste water is also need of the hour. Even though centralized waste water treatment is most adopted system by government at various cities, Decentralized Waste Water Treatment Systems (De-WATS) is proven to be one of the cost effective and sustainable solution in the present scenario. Recognizing this need, Water Knowledge Centre along with The Consortium for DEWATS™ Dissemination (CDD) Society offers 4 day Training Programme on "Decentralized Waste Water Treatment Systems (De-WATS) " (one day field visit) for engineers, practitioners, academicians, research scholars and students on March 7-10, 2018 at Tata-Dhan Academy campus, Melakkal, Madurai at very nominal resource fee of Rs. 7000 for residential and Rs. 5000 for Non-residential (Madurai based participants only) for four days including training materials, boarding and lodging.
