S M Sehgal Foundation, India has conducted successful field trials of adapting MatiKalp (ceramic pot filter) for arsenic, iron, manganese and pathogens removal from water to make safe for drinking through integration of zero valent iron technology.
This is going to be the world's cheapest system to remove arsenic, iron, manganese and pathogens simultaneously from water without using any chemical, aiming for poorest of poors.
