The song of Arborea The city of Arborea, in the main agriculture district of Sardinia, was founded in the 20s at the end of the reclamation of vast marshlands. Settlers' descendants of a century ago (mainly from Veneto-Friuli and Romagna, "mestizo" with Sardinian) today face globalization, climate change, water governance, and need to update ways of thinking and producing. "The song of Arborea" - a play and a desire - wants to tell a little of this. The track was produced as part of CADWAGO project (Climate change adaptation and water governance -http://www.cadwago.net), whose final meeting was hosted in October 2015 in Arborea with the organization of the Desertification Research Centre - University of Sassari (http://bit.ly/1nO7ery), supported by Municipality of Arborea (http://www.comune.arborea.oristano.it/) by Cooperativa Produttori Arborea (http://www.produttoriarborea.it/) Pro-Loco di Arborea (www.prolocoarborea.it/) and by Cooperativa 3A (http://www.arborea.it/). "The song of Arborea" is sung by Daniela Cossiga, music by Mario Mariani, words and animation by Sante Maurizi.
