This report, which was developed through the collaborative efforts of the U.S. Global Change Research Program, is required by statute to be issued every four years. The latest report was released in November 2018. Notably, the report’s conclusions directly conflict with the Trump Administration’s agenda to weaken policies and regulations designed to combat climate change. This article highlights the National Climate Assessment’s Summary Findings. These Summary Findings represent a high-level synthesis of the material in the underlying report. The findings consolidate key takeaways and supporting evidence from numerous national and regional chapters as well as chapters that focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. This issue of the journal also contains a major article on the Colorado River. Sustainable Water Resources Information may be found athttps://sites.google.com/site/sustainablewaterresources
