- Christian Bréthaut (GWH) informs us that the free OSCE-GWH E-learning Course on Water diplomacy and integration of water norms in peacebuilding is now open. This online self-paced Course explores the intersection between water and peace and provides theoretical and practical tools for integrated sustainable water governance in dialogue and processes linked to conflict prevention and peacebuilding. It combines video lectures explaining topics related to hydropolitics, international water law, and conflict management, with podcast interviews with regional experts and practitioners. - “High and Dry - How Water Issues Are Stranding Assets”: this new analysis from CDP and Planet Tracker details how water risks are already leading to stranded assets across key industrial sectors and shows how financial institutions are exposed to these risks. It looks at four case studies across the coal, electric utilities, metals & mining, and oil & gas sectors.
- UN Procurement Notice: UNCDF is looking for the services of a lead arranger who will perform tasks related to the capital mobilization phase of the Blue Peace Financing Mechanism implementation at the Gambia River Basin Development Organisation (OMVG). The main scope of work is to provide support to OMVG in the process of issuing the Blue Peace Bond while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
