Game plan for reducing plastic pollution can be broadly classified into two categories viz- before and after. Before approach would include reduce demand program, while the after plan of action would include recycle and reuse Neither one of these interventions alone are sufficient to address the plastic problem. A combination of such a design represents the most aggressive possible solution to mitigate plastic pollution.
