  1. centres of excellence for farmer will be proved good examples for farmers and technocrats, very few chain systems are running in India. Specially chain must have liked up from grass root level, very rare projects working from grass root level. suppose vegetable production... starting from groundwater, surface water, soil, seed, fertilizers, and other inputs management, storage and implements at farm level to processing and marketing at cluster level should be there. Mostly projects are collecting produce and provides storage-transportation only and markets and earns well this may be improved. Hope Israel people will start projects from grass root level projects for the benefit of our farmers.

  2. Most of the farmers already started to migrate to urban center, Farming is not anymore profitable business. The in put costs for seeds, fertilizers, weedicide, fungicide, insecticides and urea & DAP increases the input cost. The agriculture sector needs new cost effective and sustainable technology for sustainable Development. Only the organic farming or Natural farming can reduce the input cost and also increase yield. So any government shall go for less expenditure technology, World wide organic farming is picking well and this is essential subject

  3. Is a very good news for the Indian agricultural Research organizations and farmers for a new start,Israel is well known for the implementation of sustainable agricultural productivity by good agricultural practices. One of the Major draw back in India is the education and agricultural literacy among the farmers community, mainly in the application of fertilizers and pesticides. The indiscriminate usage of these chemicals are not only increasing the chemical pollution through run of waters and eutrophication, which indirectly effecting the irrigation systems.there should be a good rapport between the farmers, scientists, agricultural extension workers and agricultural universities.the Indian farmers are in need of timely advice from seed to crop return-marketing.Educating farmers will not only save the cost reduction but also creates an awareness in community farming and an understanding about an easy agricultural operations.I hope these ISRAEL agricultural research centers will fulfill the gap between the farmers- scientists-Agricultural universities. All the best.
