The industrial zone of Dakhla known by factories of fish canneries and manufacture of fishmeal and fish oil characterized by their high production and quality of products intended for international trade.
The study was conducted on six fish canning factories and fishmeal and fish oil factories, and to solve the problem of high salinity by desalination plant and to treat the high flow rates of waste water characterised by a huge charges of pollution by using a physico-chemical treatment and a biological treatment.
An economic study was conducted to estimate the investment and operation costs of the entire project.
