Could a Hermetic Turbine Generator, Be Deeply Submerged in the Border Line Between The Saline and Fresh Water surfaces?

Could This Phenomenon and a Technology to be related to each other?

    I imagine a hermetic waterproof turbine generator with " extended suction and discharge pipes" could be submerged deep into the merging saline and freshwater border line, on the merging seas' surface. In such a case the saline water having higher pressure due to the higher density would flow into the suction pipe and propel the turbo generator, generating electricity. What do you think? This idea needs a pilot trial, for sure.
