These serve as easy to deploy, low-threshold packages that use the best value-for-money metric as a solid basis, that of high-frequency vibration combined with rpm. This way we get the multiples of bearing or gear-mesh issues, scaled with rpm.
This we can top with process measurements like e.g. temperature, pressure, flow, or oil analysis, or we can measure peak current to tackle early-stage electric motor failures.
With the acquired data we can then build a holistic view of the asset.
This we can put into a basic monitoring concept, that doesn’t need to be built from scratch over-and-over again but uses our Condence package as a solid base to expand from.
E.g. start with ISO standard thresholds and expand from there.
This allows us to recognize for example bearing and mechanical failure, cavitation and impeller issues, or any standard running time calculation.
The main idea is that we can monitor basically any kind of metric that we want with any standard sensor, at an affordable price.
Have a look at the Condence Pump Concept below, and think how this would apply to you.
