False statements and multiple short term solutions will not allow you to achieve your goals.   If you would leave out the fictious "climate change" and replace it with retailers and widespread government mismanagement you will have an excellent starting point.  Residential rainwater collection, use, and recycling does not require multi billion dollar infrastructure. A simple biodigester would eliminate the need for WTP and their massive infrastructure. A house hold bio generator connected to the bio digesting unit would add to your other alternative energy sources inching you closer to being 100% off the grid and 100% sustainable.   Before government interference  this was "We The People's" goal. In case you were not aware you have 10 times the water you will ever need.  So you have 2 choices. Be a flock of sheep and allow yourselves to be herded into water scarce pits. Or you can go out and start using the water you are being told to fear will run out.  A really big hint! It is not on your coastal areas.

Except man-made climate change isn't fictious and it a reality we all have to plan and deal with in terms of building more resilience into our water networks and facilities.
