Where I live (Thailand) bottled water is all the go, because water from the tap is not so safe, and most activities especially outdoors make you sweat so you need a regular top up. But I wonder about the health risks from drinking only de-ionized water, which does not provide those essential ions: potassium, calcium and magnesium. Of course spring waters (like Perrier) do contain those dissolved ions, but what about cheaper brands that are just de-ionised tapwater? How healthy are they really?
