In past years of his career, having been closely associated with the Defence, and having a first-hand experience of the lifestyle. During his stays at various commands and Stations, he noted biggest fight of soldiers is against terrain and weather.

Mountains full of jungles covered with snow with cliff faces all around. No respite from any angle, temperature sub zero, Uncomfortable clothing and heavy equipment. Blizzards, snow storms, scorching heats of deserts even avalanches. It's just not easy carrying out operations there also it’s hard to maintain personal hygiene in areas like dras , kargil , siachin glacier (where the temperature goes below -45 degrees and is the highest battlefield in the world).

Besides these hardships one of the biggest problem our Soldiers encountered is availability of water for personal hygiene and sometimes even for drinking at high altitudes as well as in hot and humid areas where the temperature shoot up as high as 50 degree.

The military serves and protects our nation under these very circumstances and time and again it has been stressed through many studies and recommendations that military health should be of uttermost priority when gauging our defence preparedness.

Moreover, he observed sometimes our soldiers are posted for days in those areas where there is water scarcity and maintaining their personal hygiene becomes a challenge/impossible.

To tackle water scarcity problems and to help Indian Soldiers Dr. Gupta scrutinize all these aforementioned problems very closely and began to develop and design a whole range of personal care products which focused on maintaining the personal hygiene of our soldiers and also keeping an eminent situation in mind. Non availability of water.
