In an attempt to solve the problem of single-use plastic bottles, Denver startup FloWater developed water bottle refill stations that connect to municipal water systems and deliver a high-quality product .

“We are building products that democratize and decentralize water,” said CEO Rich Razgaitis for Denver Post. In December, Bluewater Group, a Swedish company focused on water and air purification technology provided $15 million in Series B funding to this cooling technology.
FloWater takes tap water and purifies it with a 7x Advanced Purification process: the result is a water that’s the best tasting water in the world—better than anything in a bottle, which is dispensed from an insanely cool-to-use Refill Station into any type of refillable container.
