Can we use wood as barrier on channel to reduce evaporation ? looking for material that can last long and gives more efficiency for its use to reduce evaporation loss from channel, less costly, not harmful, not destroyed by birds or habitat around channel. Iswood good for that and if there is any other material please suggest ..

  2. I have seen people using Tyre for reducing the evaporation from some lake. How big is the stream you want to reduce the evaporation from? As woods could be a solution but they are they available at site and cheap?
