Phosphorus removal in wastewater treatment of Pulp&Paper industry
Published on by Carlos Quadros in Technology
Phosphorus concentrations in final effluent, after wastewater treatment, in the pulp and paper industry, represents a huge problem. The challenge is even greater when the raw material used is eucalyptus - mainly Eucalyptus globulus - very rich in phosphorus. Anyone know of proven processes for viable treatment?
