SANITATION ID CARD MANDATORY FOR PUBLIC SERVICE IN NEPAL
Published on by Barkha Warade, Director
The sanitation identity card has been made mandatory in government offices to leverage efforts to declare Ilam an Open Defecation Free district.
The service providers would not get service without showing sanitation ID card according to the new rule. The District Administration Office has issued directive not to deliver any service to those who are without ID card. It has come to effect since last March 15.
Following directive from the district office, the local service providers have stopped delivering recommendation for citizenship certificate, passport, land registration pass and other documents without ID card
