The Future of Energy - A talk by Daniel Yergin hosted by the Harvard University Center for the Environment
Published on by Kiran Pereira in Academic
Here's a fascinating talk on the past, present and future of the energy industry, especially in the US. He talks about several interesting phenomena including the birth of the wind industry, the shale gas boom, electric cars, geopolitics, why resource efficiency projects are not attractive choices in terms of political support and more. It lasts for little more than an hour. I find the Q&A session informative too. Did you know that researchers are now exploring options for 'waterless fracking'?
