Water in the Anthropocene

A major event in the research of global environmental changes and the global water system will take place in Germany next year:
The GWSP Conference 'Water in the Anthropocene: Challenges for Science and Governance. Indicators, Thresholds and Uncertainties of the Global Water System' will be held at Maritim Hotel in Bonn, Germany on 21-24 May 2013.
Some of the Energy/Water nexus issues to be discussed there include:
- Water-Energy Tradeoffs across Scales
- Rivers and the Nexus: Water, Energy and Food Security in Large Basins
- Governing the energy-water-environment nexus related to hydropower projects
- Towards an integrated approach to the Water-Energy-Food Nexus
- The Nexus of Water, Energy and Food Security in the Eastern Nile Basin
