1. I was intensively involved in rural parts of India in water and sanitation program me. The document posted above is good and ambitious. My personal experience says that interpersonal communication and door to door to door contact are recognised as the most significant tools for attaining the sanitation program goals. In order to strengthen communication machinery at the village level with participatory social mobilization in India we have Sanitation Messengers (SM), I am posting here the guidelines for SM which Indian govt has prepared.
