Provision of adequatesanitation facility is a human right but its very unfortunate that more than 1 billion of global population have no access to it.The situation is worst in south Asian region where half of the population have no access to proper toilet facilities and in rural areas people do not have latrine at home and they are forced to defecate in open . Govt have distributed toilet structures and designed public latrines but the latrine structures are poor and there is no such system for their maintenance. There is a need to introduce *Regional sanitation forum* which focuses on
1)Mobilize community towards good sanitation practices
2)Govt of all the 8 countries introduce independent ministries for sanitation and hygiene sector and allocate funds in their annual budget .
3) Appoint district and provincial toilet administrators who ensure provision of accessible toilet facilities to each family.
4)Introduce a sanitation complaint cell in everydistrict where people can register their complaints regarding work done by the sanitation workers.
5)Arrange Annual meetings in which representatives of all the 8 countries of south Asia participate and share their views opinions and suggestions towards further improvement.

Mr. Marius I focused on a very important thing that is "To familiarize the community towards toilet usage" as in many remote areas people are unknown about how to use the toilets. This require promotional campaigns in which benefits of having private toilet or toilet at home can be highlighted.

Hello Syeda You bring out an old problem as the world and treated on many other forums. Unfortunately without leading to a real solution other than good word in the air. Two issues predominate in your presentation: Why is it always this issue back on the job by expert consultants engineers or any other organization who only speak of infrastructure, although the latter is already in use worldwide under devierses forms? Why this issue is not a definitive solution t it? The answer is very simple. Today wastewater mainly toilet was captured by the administrative intelligentsia who under the guise of regulation or humiliating position of the person in a position to make a daily need, think that this problem can only be solved by legal texts. Out defecation and urine need produce excrement no law, no structure, no rules are not able to provide a real solution. The concept of Biological Wastewater is mainly concerned with feces and their destruction by upgrading all the product of the remaining water left after treatment. Brand new latrines are abandoned after six months by local why? Is it a question of infrastructure, amenities, locations? no, it's just that the toilet facilities are filthy and against all odds, undermine public safety. However, their implementation is consistent with the principle of convenience in use.
