I am a holder of Bsc in Geology and Licensed Hydrogeologist from University of Nairobi and Msc in Water and Environmental Management from WEDC, Loughborough University, UK. Have over 15 years’ progressive working experience in Horn of Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Sudan and South Sudan) leading development and relief/emergency multi-sectoral and multi-million dollar funded programs and projects including Water, Environment and Natural Resource Management, funded by ECHO, OFDA, UN OCHA, EU, Italian Development Cooperation, AUSaid, Sida, DFID, UNICEF, AfDB and IFAD. Part of qualifications & Core areas of Expertise in Water Sector are Groundwater Resources investigation, development & management; Water and Environmental Sanitation; Water Utilities Management; and Integrated Water Resources Management. Another on-job experience is Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction. I have background trainings in Solid Waste Management, Environmental assessment (EIA and SEA) and Wastewater treatment. I have served in various capacities in private companies, International and local NGOs and cooperatives. I have management flexibility and broad industry knowledge to lead numerous and successful multi-million dollar programmes and project and demonstrated a unique combination of strategic planning, budgeting, and management including technical and human resources, policy framework, monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting. I am is currently a Freelance Consultant in Water, Environment and Natural resources Management.
